Frequently Asked Questions:

Can you lift my house back to its original position?

Many homes do go back to the original position, but a combination of factors can contribute to whether or not your home can be restored to the original position.  The priority is to stabilize the foundation, and stabilization is guaranteed by both Grip-Tite and by A Sure Foundation.

What do I do if regaining the original position is not possible?

There are many cosmetic remedies to mask symptoms of foundation failure.  Unfortunately, some companies offer cosmetic solutions prior to fixing the real problem.  In a short period of time, the underlying problem will worsen, and the cosmetic "band-aid" will also fail.  The best solution is to fix the problem first, then correct any cosmetic issues.

"We have tried everything… how can we be sure this will work?"

This is a common question.  Unfortunately, not all homes return to the original position.  However, our solution is professionally engineered and scientifically proven to stabilize the foundation, and in many cases, homes do return to the original position.  At A Sure Foundation, we do not just pour footers on unstable ground, but drive piers to deep stable ground.  The pier depth varies for each pier at each home, determined by pressure stabilization based on hydraulic measurements.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, both A Sure Foundation and Grip-Tite Manufacturing warranty the products and process.  The warranty period is 20 years and is transferable to a new homeowner.

Will my landscaping be ruined by the equipment?

At A Sure Foundation we take pride in providing customer satisfaction.  We understand the importance of solving your foundation issues while keeping your landscape looking great.  During the repair process it may be necessary to remove some of the landscaping, but we strive to return removed components and preserve the original design.
